Kim Milholland has been an integral part of the team at Aesthetic Arts Institute of Plastic Surgery for nearly 30 years, working alongside Dr. Susan Kaweski to help create a warm, knowledgeable, and patient-focused environment. As the Operations Manager, Kim oversees daily operations for the plastic surgery practice, Jewel Med Spa, and La Mesa Surgery Center, ensuring that every aspect of the patient experience runs smoothly. Known for her welcoming personality and deep expertise, Kim is often the person patients and staff turn to with questions—because there truly isn’t one she can’t answer. Her passion for her work, dedication to the team, and genuine care for patients have made her a trusted and valued leader within the practice for decades.

Michael F. Brown, Esq. is the office manager and counsel to Dr. Kaweski and her medical practice. As such, he handles personnel, regulatory, legal, contractual, and general business matters. He has been an attorney for over forty years where he has served as a federal prosecutor investigating and prosecuting financial fraud; facilitated financing for a wide array of public and private companies; represented private investors who have suffered losses through misconduct; served as a judge pro-tem and served as a financial advisor for a major wire house.

Sarah is our Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner here at The Jewel Med Spa by Dr. Susan Kaweski. With over 11 years-experience, Sarah’s knowledge of all things laser and her expertise with injectables make her a valuable commodity to our Med Spa. Natalia is a valued part of our back office team, serving as a Back Office Assistant and bringing a remarkable depth of medical knowledge to the practice. Originally from Ukraine, she practiced as a plastic surgeon before coming to the United States. While continuing her journey toward earning her medical credentials here, Nataliia shares her extensive expertise and clinical insight with both our team and our patients every day. Her dedication to learning, strong work ethic, and passion for patient care make her an invaluable part of our practice, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our team. 

Charlotte is our Medical Receptionist and the warm, welcoming voice and smile that greet patients from their very first interaction with our practice. Known for her genuinely kind and caring nature, Charlotte helps every patient feel comfortable and at ease the moment they arrive. From greeting guests with a friendly smile to offering refreshments and ensuring each visit runs smoothly, she goes above and beyond to create a positive experience. Charlotte coordinates appointments with care and efficiency and is often the first person patients speak with when they contact our office, setting the tone for the attentive and personalized care our practice is known for.

Rachelle serves as our Authorizations Coordinator and plays a vital role in ensuring our patients’ care moves forward as smoothly as possible. While much of her work happens behind the scenes, her dedication and efficiency make a tremendous impact. Rachelle understands how important insurance authorizations are for patients, and she works diligently to submit requests quickly, communicate with insurance providers, and secure approvals whenever possible. If a request is denied, she carefully reviews every detail and advocates for the patient, making sure nothing has been overlooked that could help obtain approval. With precision, persistence, and genuine care, Rachelle personally guides patients through the authorization process, helping them feel supported every step of the way.
