Ultrasonic Massage

Indications:

• Ultrasound is a very therapeutic modality to help in healing and decrease bruising.

Description of the procedure:

• You will relax on the bed while the ultrasound therapist massages the area with the ultrasound machine. You will feel some warmth with the procedure.

Intended result:

• To aid in faster healing with less bruising and scarring.
• To reduce swelling after surgery.

Recuperation and healing:

• You will notice some warmth to the area after ultrasound but you should feel refreshed and the area will be less painful.
