Micro-Fat Grafting
Indications:
- Loss of fatty tissue on the face or any area of the body secondary to trauma, surgery or aging.

Procedure Description:
- Fat cells are gently harvested from areas of the body that are not involved in the process of loss.
- The cells are then prepared for injection to the areas of concern. Small incisions will be made at both sites.
- Usually a compressive tape is placed over the facial areas which are grafted. Compression garments are used where the cells are harvested.
- Initial discomfort subsides daily and can be controlled with oral medication. Bruising and swelling usually last 7-14 days in the face.
Recuperation and healing:
- Tape is applied to the face and will be removed 4 days after procedure.
- All sutures will be removed in 4-5 days.
- Generally bruising & swelling will subside within 2-3 weeks.
- The final result is evident in 3-6 months with continued improvement over the course of a year.
Intended result:
- To improved the most visible signs of aging by restoring youthful contours and skin texture, elasticity, and color. To improve depressions as a result of fatty loss due to trauma or surgery.
