| Cheek Surgery
Indications:
- Smaller than desired cheeks
- Retruded cheeks
Procedure Description:
- The procedure is done on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia
- Cheek implants can be placed through incisions in the mouth, below the eyes or through facelift incision.
- Reduction of the cheek bone is performed through incisions above the ears in the scalp.
Intended Result:
- Enhancement of the cheeks to improve facial features
- Detrusion of the cheeks to improve self image.
Recuperation & Healing:
- A head dressing is applied for 2 days.
- Swelling and bruising will subside in 2-3 weeks.
- Strenuous activities should be avoided for 4 weeks.
